# How To Setup Synaptico with Bullhorn Integration

It covers the steps to connect your Bullhorn account with Synaptico, automate candidate uploads, and ensure all interactions are synced between the two platforms.

**What the Bullhorn integration does**

Automates the upload of candidates from Bullhorn x Synaptico and ensures all communication is loaded back into Bullhorn ATS.

Candidates will interact with Synaptico as usual once a campaign is loaded.

Emails and candidate conversations will be copied back into Bullhorn.

SHORTLISTED leads will be updated in the campaign folder.

Candidate Phone number field will update.

Candidate Status will update to 'active' in Shortlisted.

Candidate Status will update to DNU if the candidate reaches the 'CEASE Contact' stage in a Synaptico campaign.

If any CVs are attached in candidate communication, they will parse through to the candidate file library.

### Step by Step Guide To Setup Integration in Synaptico

Step 1: Sign Up and Set Up Synaptico

* Go to app.synaptico.io.
* Click on Sign in with your email.
* If you don't have an account, click on the Sign up link and complete the registration process.

Step 2: Contact Your Bullhorn Administrator

* Inform your Bullhorn administrator that you need the Synaptico integration.
* They will initiate the process on their end.

Step 3: Synaptico and API Activation

* Once the request is made, Synaptico  will receive a notification.
* Synaptico will turn on the API to enable the integration.

Step 4: Synaptico + Bullhorn Ready for Use

* Once logged in, you should see the Bullhorn functionality activated within Synaptico.
* Your Synaptico account is now fully integrated with Bullhorn and ready for use.
